What happens next?
Once we receive your application:
- We’ll contact you to arrange an interview with our Principal or leadership team.
- Please bring original documents to the interview.
- For future-year enrolments (e.g. 2+ years ahead), interviews are scheduled the year before your child starts.

Prep enrolments
In Queensland, Prep is the first year of school and is compulsory before Year 1. Your child is eligible for Prep if they turn
5 by 30 June in the year they start.

Early or delayed entry to Prep may be considered in specific circumstances, and if deemed in the best educational interest of your child. Our Lady of the Rosary School and Brisbane Catholic Education follow the
Queensland Department of Education's position on early entry and delayed entry.
Kindergarten
Our Lady of the Rosary Kindergarten is located on-site. Apply directly via the Catholic Early EdCare website.

You’ll meet our leadership team, tour the school, and discuss your child’s needs, our curriculum, and how we support student success.
Enrolment Policy
OLR Kenmore is part of a large system of Catholic Parish schools of the Archdiocese of Brisbane and is administered under the auspices of Brisbane Catholic Education.
The school's main priority is to service the Primary education needs of Catholic families, but everyone is welcome at OLR Kenmore.
Order of Priority
- Children of families who have brothers and sisters currently enrolled at OLR Kenmore.
- Catholic students and applicants from Catholic families.
- A student from a BCE Catholic Primary or Kindergarten managed by Catholic Early EdCare.
- Applicants from families from another or no faith tradition, who are willing to commit to the values of OLR Kenmore and who are willing to support and contribute positively to the life of the school.
Further applications will be considered on their merits.
