In the first half of the year at Our Lady of the Rosary Kenmore, our focus has been on strengthening teaching through purposeful, collaborative professional learning.
Our staff have worked closely together through shared planning, Learning Sprints and regular reflection—building clarity in how we teach, particularly in reading, writing and spelling. This collective approach ensures consistency across classrooms and allows us to respond thoughtfully to each child’s needs.
Alongside this, we closely monitor student progress using a range of evidence to guide targeted teaching, supporting every learner to grow in confidence and capability.
For families, this means a school where teaching is continually evolving, learning is purposeful, and every child is supported to build strong foundations for the future.
